Itinerary

Day 1Arrival Port Moresby

Arrive in Port Moresby, the seaside capital of Papua New Guinea, and transfer to hotel and installation. In the evening, there will be an orientation meeting and dinner at the hotel.
Overnight at Crown Hotel

Day 2Moresby – Losuia – Omrakan village

After breakfast, we flight to Losuia. Upon arrival, we’ll be escorted with clean and comfortable room at Kiriwina Lodge by a hotel representative. In afternoon, we’ll gain some insight into local culture by visiting with villagers, including a meeting with the Paramount Chief at Omrakan village. Take time to explore the island’s stunning beaches, World War II relics, and even nearby caves. Overnight at Kiriwina Lodge

Day 3Omrakan village

Early breakfast, before heading off to explore more local villages. Here, We’ll be entertained by traditional dances, and we’ll be introduced to local community schools. Return back to our lodge to get ready for more in the evening, when we’ll be entertained by more traditional dances put on by the young boys and girls from nearby villages. Overnight at Kiriwina Lodge

Day 4Omrakan village – Port Moresby

After breakfast, we heading back to Port Moresby, where we’ll check in once again. We may enjoy the day at leisure, enjoying the hotel’s facilities, exploring the beachfront, or checking out the charming city center.

Day 5Port Moresby – Mount Hagen – Tambul

After breakfast, departure to the third-largest city in Papua New Guinea, the volcano city of Mount Hagen. After flight arrival, ans installation to Hotel Highlander. We’ll make a stop along the way to say hello to the city’s Chief and his wives, and another in Tambul, where we’ll catch a glimpse of the traditional village life of the Kaguel Valley people. Overnight at Hotel Highlander

Day 6Village of the Kaguel Valley people

After breakfast, we start our day with a refreshing nature walk around the lodge, exploring its beautiful surroundings. Then we’ll be taken to the local market, as well as tea and coffee plantations nestled in the Waghi Valley. This afternoon, you’ll witness a traditional Mt Hagen courtship, after which, are free to do as us please.

Day 7Village of the Kaguel – Komunive village

After breakfast, we checking out of Magic Mountain Hideaway Lodge and heading to Goroka for its cultural show. The drive will take us past some incredible panoramas of the Papua New Guinea landscape. Stop along the way in Komunive Village for the traditional mud man performance. Arrival and installation to Hotel Bird of Paradise, before exploring some of the town’s must-sees, including the JK McCarthy museum. Overnight to Hotel Bird of Paradise

Day 8Komunive village - Goroka Cultural

After breakfast, we‘ll spend a full days taking in one of Papua New Guinea’s best shows, the Goroka Cultural Show. We’ll get a front row seat to the traditional Sing-Sing, a Papua New Guinea traditional dance performed by local tribal groups kitted out in vibrant tribal attire.
Overnight to Hotel Bird of Paradise

Day 9Goroka Cultural - Madang Province

Start your day off with fresh after breakfast, delicious Goroka coffee, before you begin our thrilling and picturesque road trip to Madang Province. Stop along the way at Ramu Sugar for lunch, as well as a wildlife conservation area to check out eels and turtles. Overnight to Jais Aben Resort

Day 10Port Moresby

After breakfast, departure to Port Moresby and transfer and flight at Home country
